OH Happy Day

Sitting On A Knee

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

First Comes LOVE

Then (a very long time later) Comes MARRIAGE

Then Comes A Baby In A Baby Carriage.

We are so excited to welcome our first little bundle of joy in very early January 2014.**

**I'm actually due ON my 30th birthday.  We're pretty early along to be announcing this to the world but I will be writing about my pregnancy for another publication and as far as the internet goes I wanted all of you, who have been so incredibly supportive and all-together amazing, to know first.  I am so blessed in this life.  How on earth does a girl get so lucky?**

P.S. Now that there are more than 200 comments, to see yours you'll have to click on the "Load More" link at the bottom of the page.  I am beyond overwhelmed, in the most delightful way possible, at the outpouring of well wishes I have received here and on FB today.  I've never before uttered the phrase 'Aww Shucks' but it's come out of my mouth numerous times today and for that I have you all to thank.

Well if you want any tips towards the end, let me know ;)

As a side note, not to be all preachy, and Im not even sure you're into vitamins and/or natural stuff, BUT Red Raspberry tea or pills are a great tool for toning your uterus.

And, um, your blog MUST contain baby news. Its part of YOU, and we love all things Lauren :D

      Delete
    3. I'll look into the pills. My doctor already has me on so many supplements that sometimes I think about pouring milk over them in the morning and eating them like cereal.

      Delete
    4. Jessie S.5/13/2013

LOL. Well, at least you've still got your appetite;)

      Delete
    5. Yes luckily I am still all about eating. My only complaint right now is how tired I feel constantly. But if that's the worst I'm dealing with at the moment I will take it.

    6. Jessie S.5/13/2013

Yeah the 1st trimester will be exhausting.

The 3rd is exhausting, but in a different way. Probably because you're carrying a sack of potatoes around by that point.

AHHHH! I love pregnancy! Im already planning my next one ;)

Vomits not the only gross bodily function you'll be dealing with. Bwahahaha (said with the most evil laugh I can muster!)

      Delete
    3. Oh I know it. Sort of.

      Delete
    4. Maybe we could come up with code words for the other bodily functions. That way it doesn't scare off those of us who don't have kids yet but are still thinking its a good idea.

      Delete
    5. Haha code words. Absolutely.

      Delete
    6. Jessie S.5/13/2013

Its a wonderful idea (having kids!) All of the gross crap you deal with while pregnant is to prepare you for the even grosser stuff you deal with when you have babies/kids.

Just dont read any stories that mention vagina and Grand Canyon in the same sentence. ;)

  73. OMG, I have been following your blog for a while now and this is amazing news - CONGRATULATIONS! I feel that we are kindred spirits, mostly because we share a deep love for cheese,(seriously, I don't trust people who don't like cheese), and our sparkling senses of humor are quite under appreciated by the menfolk in our lives. So this fantastic post just made my day, and was even better than an all expenses paid tour to visit the great cheese mongers of the world.
